2. Data processed and source
The website has no forms, newsletter, online booking or payment facilities. The clinic processes information voluntarily provided by people who contact it by telephone, WhatsApp or email. This will normally include identification and contact details, availability and the contents of communications. Detailed clinical information should not be sent through these channels.
If a healthcare relationship begins, health data and clinical records will be processed under the applicable healthcare and data protection rules and separate patient information.

5. Retention
- Enquiries and communications: for as long as necessary to respond and manage the request, followed by the applicable limitation periods.
- Clinical data: for at least the legally required period after the end of care and for longer periods where needed to meet legal duties or professional liabilities.
- Cookie preferences: up to 730 days, unless withdrawn earlier or material changes occur.
6. Rights
Individuals may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and may withdraw consent, by writing to info@clinica-alcanda.com and identifying the right requested. Identification documents will only be requested where there are reasonable doubts about identity.
A complaint may also be filed with the Spanish Data Protection Agency at www.aepd.es.
7. Children, automated decisions and security
The website is not intended for children to contact the clinic without the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. No automated decisions or profiling with legal effects are carried out. The clinic applies security measures appropriate to the risk, although absolute security on the Internet cannot be guaranteed.
