Emotional dependence — regaining autonomy
Emotional dependence often presents as an intense fear of loss, difficulty setting boundaries or a sense of needing the other person to feel okay. In therapy we work on identifying the relational patterns that maintain this dependence, improving self-esteem and practising boundaries and more balanced relationships. Our goal is for relationships to stop consuming your emotional stability and to become sources of mutual support.
