Cookie policy
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on a device when a website is visited. They may be necessary for the website to operate or, with consent, used to measure use or load third-party content.
2. Cookies used
| Category | Purpose | Consent |
|---|---|---|
| Necessary | Security, recording cookie choices, remembering the selected language and providing requested functions. | Consent is not required. |
| External content | YouTube displays embedded videos and may use its own technologies when activated. | Activated only after acceptance. |
3. Technical table of cookies and services
| Cookie or service | Provider | Purpose | Estimated duration | Category | When activated |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
alcanda_cookie_consent |
Clínica de Psicología Alcanda, S.L.P. (first party) | Stores consent preferences, the notice version and the date of the choice. | Up to 730 days | Necessary / technical | Always; consent is not required. |
pll_language |
Polylang / first party | Remembers the language selected by the user and enables the correct language version to be served. | Up to 1 year | Necessary / technical | When the language preference is used. |
YouTube / youtube-nocookie.com |
Google LLC / YouTube | Enables embedded videos to be played in privacy-enhanced mode. Once enabled, YouTube may use its own cookies or similar technologies for session, preferences, security and player operation. | Variable depending on the technology used by YouTube | External content | Only after External content is accepted. |
Note on YouTube: videos are configured so that the iframe, remote thumbnails and requests to YouTube are not loaded before the user accepts the “External content” category. Where compatible, youtube-nocookie.com is used once activated. The specific set of YouTube cookies or technologies may vary depending on the session, Google settings and changes to the service, so it should be checked again through a technical scan in production.
4. Managing consent
On the first visit, users can accept, reject or configure non-essential cookies. Choices may be changed or withdrawn at any time through the “Change cookie preferences” link in the footer. Rejection does not prevent use of the website, although videos remain blocked until the relevant category is accepted.
5. Browser controls
Cookies may also be deleted or blocked through the browser settings. Doing so may affect certain functions. Users should consult the current help information for their browser.
6. Transfers and third parties
YouTube is a Google service. Activation may involve processing outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards described in the Privacy Policy. Further details are available in Google’s privacy and cookie policies.
7. Updates
This policy will be updated when cookies, providers or purposes change.
